As COVID lockdowns began to recede, the Norwegian experimental metal trio YAWN hit the ground running, releasing their debut album "Materialism" in February 2022 to rave reviews from all over the world. YAWN followed this release with European tours in the spring and fall, including a run of shows opening for German jazz-metal band Panzerballett in October.
Blending influences from metal, jazz, and experimental electronic music, YAWN’s live show seamlessly combines danceable grooves and improvised synth soundscapes with brutal 8-string guitar breakdowns. Custom-designed software allows them to perform brain-boggling rhythms in perfect synchronicity with a dynamic light show, making every YAWN performance a feast for the senses.
Armed with new music and renewed yearning to get back in front of audiences, YAWN is hitting the road again, playing concerts across Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom between April 9th - 21st 2023.

 

VESPER
Vesper is an instrumental, progressive metal band incorporating jazz fusion elements with a healthy dose of tongue-in-cheek 80’s cheese. Think Meshuggah and Animals As Leaders meets Allan Holdsworth and Chick Corea Electric Band.
Hailing from Ghent, Belgium and formed in 2023, the band was born from the ashes of Vermilion, a similar prog outfit, and now incorporates members from Aeveris, Wound Collector, Mother Mercury, Ænima and Tortus Trio.
From the most angular, punishing riffs over ambiental drones and wisps to furious fret- board workouts and soaring leads, all served on a bed of otherworldly alien har- mony, Vesper’s music is like leaving the familiar behind and going on a musical journey to new frontiers.
